About

Meet Sharon

My name is Sharon (Higgins) Stover.

I originally did artwork with preschoolers for 36 years as a part of their curriculum, including Monet and Van Gogh in their art explorations.

My Journey Into Watercolor

Then I retired from that field and became a mail carrier in Hayward WI, where I met a friend who introduced me to the world of watercolor.

I have had so much fun and relaxation from learning watercolor techniques, refining my skills as an artist, taking after my mother, who excelled in oil painting in her retirement.

My Passion for Pet Portraits

My newest passion is painting pet portraits, from chickens to dogs, to cats, to goats, etc.

I thoroughly enjoy every minute of lending expression and joy to each painting that I render for wonderful people and acquaintances on my route and in my life.

Sharing Art With Others

I also conduct classes so that others can explore their artistic self and open up to new experiences.

As a result of working with my daughter who is disabled, she encouraged me to build my passion for art into a business.

Sharon’s Art Shoppe

I developed a website, and I sell original paintings, prints, cards, and hold classes for wonderful people like you.
